Job Title: Assistant Professor of Dairy Science

Research and teaching emphasis will be in the area of dairy product processing and unit operations with specialization in an area such as dairy product analysis/characterization
Requirements: Applicant must have an earned Ph.D. degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, or a closely related field by date of appointment. Relevant knowledge and experience of dairy unit operations, such as evaporation and drying, membrane separations, heat transfer, etc., and dairy product analysis techniques such as rheological techniques, microstructure.

Job Title: Postdoctoral; Research Fellow in Dairy Microbiology

Description: This is an opportunity to join a new dairy microbiology group funded by the Dairy Farmers of Ontario. The ideal candidate will contribute to the writing of grant proposals through literature review and design of innovative approaches to improving the quality and health applications of dairy products. Potential research areas include dairy fermentations (starter cultures, yeast, molds), flavor and texture development in fermented dairy products; developing health promoting properties and fermentation processes which will improve dairy sustainability by adding value to co‐products.
