Requirements: The position requires an MS in Food Science, Distillation, Fermentation Science, Chemical Engineering or related field and professional experience in the distilled spirits sector of the food/beverage industry. Teaching experience and demonstration of teaching effectiveness in a relevant field of study in traditional or non-traditional settings.

Description: This is an opportunity to join a new dairy microbiology group funded by the Dairy Farmers of Ontario. The ideal candidate will contribute to the writing of grant proposals through literature review and design of innovative approaches to improving the quality and health applications of dairy products. Job Title: Food Scientist-Chemist
Employer: University of Nebraska- Lincoln, Food Processing Center
Description:The successful candidate will develop a strong, extramurally-funded applied research program that focuses on food chemistry, more specifically on analysis supporting product development and sensory evaluation, ingredient functionality, and process streams. The candidate will also be involved in course instruction in the areas of food chemistry, sensory and/or food processing.
Requirements: A Ph.D. in Food Science, Food Engineering, or Food Chemistry (earned PhD in place by date of employment) is required. Post-doctoral research and teaching experience or industrial experience is desirable. Preference will be given to those demonstrating a vision for applied research, value-added development and affinity to industry projects.
