Job Title: Gastrointestinal Microbiologist Assistant/Associate Professor

Description: The successful candidate will develop a research program focused on understanding the impact of the gut microbiota on human health and disease and the interaction of microbial GI communities with the epithelium, pathogens, probiotics, prebiotics, or bioactive food components. Job Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Biochemistry

Description: The Department of Food Science and Technology seeks to advance the science of spectroscopy in foods. Appointment can be an Assistant (tenure eligible) or Associate (tenured) Professor (9 month) commensurate with experience. Successful applicants will supervise an extramurally-funded research program, develop strong relationships and collaborations with the food faculty and the food industry, contribute to teaching (graduate and undergraduate), demonstrate a commitment to the profession through leadership in national and international organizations, and serve university committees and campus networks.
