Student Worker Food Innovation Center/Nebraska Innovation Studio The Food Innovation Center and Nebraska Innovation Studio are looking for a student worker for a Microbes and Educational Tools project. The goal of this project is to use scientific literature to transform the invisible microbiome into 3D printed attractive shapes that can be used for educational purpose from 9-99 years of age. The techniques that you will be familiar with by the end of the project include scientifi c literature search, data mining, scaling and 3D printing. The outcomes of the project will be the 3D printed microbes, at defi ned scale based on scientifi c measurements acquired from literature, potentially leading to a publication in open access journal and/or database. Requires the use of your own computer with internet access. 10-15 hours a week.

Assistant Professor Perdue University The successful candidate is expected to develop a nationally recognized research program focused on the role of phytochemicals in foods for health. Research necessarily needs to be underpinned by strong analytical expertise.
