Animal Health Intern

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects.  These opportunities can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. Interns will work under the direction of a supervisor and assist a team of scientists in their work toward the development of vaccines and other biologicals for use in animals. Opportunities are available for candidates enrolled in undergraduate degree programs.  Candidates must have finished their sophomore year of a four-year bachelor program in a life science discipline by June of 2020.   Candidates should be able to demonstrate their achievements in scientific coursework through academic transcripts.

Post Doctoral Research Associate

Seeking a hands-on Postdoctoral Research Associate experienced in quantitative and qualitative analysis of phytonutrients in foods. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling analytical instruments including LC, LC-MS, NMR and GC-MS. Must possess high attention to detail, strong organization skills, and excellent communication. They will need to operate in a startup environment and be flexible to take on new and added responsibilities according to research need. Provide advice and assistance to other laboratory members and act as a mentor to students.

Food Scientist

Wheat Marketing Center, Portland, OR

The Food Scientist is a key part of the technical team that delivers the wheat research and technical education program at the Wheat Marketing Center. They are responsible for organizing and planning research activities (in cooperation with the Technical Director), conducting laboratory work for research projects, communicating with team members and customers as needed, and assisting in the delivery of course curriculum. S/he works closely with the Technical Director to develop and design research projects to meet the needs of customers and address market needs and/or opportunities.
