Lab Animal Care Assistant Gnotobiotic Mouse Facility

Working with mice in sterile environments; preparing the food, water, and bedding for the mice and maintaining the sterile conditions of the isolators using aseptic techniques. Performing periodic microbiological quality-control checks and assisting lab personnel with various mouse-related tasks. The position is for Fall 2017 and possibly longer. Find more details here.

Associate or Full Professor of Ingestive Behavior Penn State The Department of Nutritional Sciences seeks applications for an investigator in the science of ingestive behavior at the level of associate or full professor.  The successful candidate will be an established scientist who is dedicated to advancing the field of ingestive behavior through innovative research, and with a record of external funding.  Applicants should have academic training in nutrition or a related discipline (e.g., physiology, neuroscience, food science, biobehavioral health, psychology, public health, bioinformatics) and have demonstrated expertise in ingestive behavior. Director of Manufacturing Quality Nature's Variety The Director of Manufacturing Quality will have the primary responsibility for the development, oversight and leadership of Food Safety and Quality Assurance for the Lincoln based operations. This role embodies the First Time, Every Time approach to quality through strong processes that support industry best practices. This position is responsible for the execution of integrated Quality Management Systems, from supplier qualification through distribution. The Director participates in cross functional teams to ensure effective implementation of quality initiatives and processes, and will lead a team of Quality professionals including a Quality Manager, Food Safety Manager, supervisors and technicians.
