About myself:
My husband and I have three grown sons, we have lived in a couple of different cities as we toured the Midwest over the years, and my work experience/education has been primarily in clinical microbiology

What is your position at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln?
I am in a temporary position serving as the Teaching Laboratory Manager

What drew you to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln?
Having experience as a Teaching Laboratory Manager and my of microbiology (& food).

What aspect of working in an educational setting do you enjoy the most?
I love it when a student has an ah ha moment of understanding and the variability of the day to day tasks.

What is your typical day like?
Each day is divided into 3 priority levels of tasks; must complete, need to do soon, and fit it in. Organization, communication, and time management are always circling each other. 

What is something that most people don't know about you?
Jigsaw puzzles have been know to bring out obsessive tendencies in me.

What is your life like outside of work?
My latest project has been working on establishing a pollinator garden in my neighborhood park. I enjoy trying new foods and beverages.
