Dr. Andy Benson was mentioned in a recent article on stimulus funding at UNL.  While the focus of the article was the possibilities being created and retained through stimulus funding, the article also notes Dr. Benson’s award of $1 million in stimulus funding.

Dr. Benson recognized for career in research

Receives Gamma Sigma Delta Research Award

Dr. Andrew Benson has been selected for the 2008 Gamma Sigma Delta Research Award. This award is being given by the Nebraska Chapter of Gamma Sigma Delta for his outstanding professional record .   Dr. Benson will receive the award at the 2008 Gamma Sigma Delta Initiation and Awards Banquet held on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Nebraska East Campus Union.  Congratulations!
