Funding for Dry Grain Pulse Research
$550,000 Available for One Project
The Dry Grain Pulses Collaborative Research Support Program, managed by Michigan State University, is seeking ‘expressions of interest’ in submitting a proposal in the topical area of “Improving the Performance and Sustainability of Pulse Value-Chains”. This project would have a total budget in the range of $500,000 to $550,000 for the 33 month period (January 1, 2010 to September 28, 2012). If interested, please send an e-mail to dgpcrsp@msu.edu indicating the general area of your research interest (related to the Topical Area described below) and intention to submit a proposal. Subsequently, a ‘Request for Proposal’ (RFP) will be made available to guide the potential applicants in their proposal preparation. To facilitate the review of your proposal and to make the award decision as close as possible to January 2010, the deadline for submitting the proposal will be in December 2009.
